Hey beloved friends (:
Firstly, I'd like to apologize for this late post... I'm quite sure that i'm the latest one to have a post on the blog. So yeah. I'm not that much of an author too so I'm sorry if I can't express what i want to say clearly..
Like Hannah, everything I've wanted to say has been more or less mentioned in one of the previous post (they were really well written by the way :D ) so I'll try my best not to repeat those. Also I should mention that all the posts had really touched my heart, I could really relate to what every one had to say and thanks for making my day. (:
I'd like to thank you guys, Rotelle, and in fact, all the members of Raffles Ringers for making this such a memorable experience. As Miao Ling puts it, the roller coaster ride wasn't the smoothest one but it would be great to have the thrill all over again. (:
Remember in April, just a mere 3 months ago? It seems so distant when we were all still goofing around in prac. Reminder after reminder, how we all still were goofing in prac. Waiting out in the humid air, complaining, while the sec ones were in the prac room. How we had to play and prac with the Schumeric bells, with the stench and 'mosquito' effect some of them had. How we hated playing Koro again and again. All those moments that made up our journey to our concert that night.
And those moments of dreading time at prac had paid off. Not taking part in the finale of Sayang gave me the chance to watch your performance. Most of you were smiling, and I could tell that the crowd enjoyed it too. In fact, I also managed to catch a glance of the audience before taking the final bow and I saw them smiling. So ringers, the hard work paid off; We are the World was a success, and I would like to thank all of you for making it a wonderful experience. It was a night to remember, memories were made and bonds strengthened.
Two years down the road, it'll be time for concert and this time, let's make it even better! xD
Less than thirty,
Ama
